We are an independent collective of concerned citizens and organisations with the vision to value and conserve global ecosystems.

ECOSAUSTRALIA is the brainchild of Dr Alec Costin, Mountain Ecologist and lifelong lover of nature and conservation. In conjunction with friends of the Snowy Mountains Australia we aim to share our understanding of ecosystems, their inherent natural values, their scientific and cultural values and their importance to Planet Earth.
